In East Palo Alto, fences, walls and hedges can be up to 4 feet tall in front setbacks and up to 7 feet in side and rear setbacks. On a corner lot, the 7-foot allowance generally does not extend into the required side-street setback, and within the 25-foot corner vision triangle nothing over 48 inches is allowed.
